Closing the Gap between Innovation & Commercialization

Through the Digital Health Scientific Symposium, we created a global platform for innovation by opening the doors for students, researchers, academicians, clinicians, and innovators to present their research, prototypes, and breakthrough ideas before a wider international community.

So, how much AI is actually working?

That gap between deployed and demonstrated is exactly what this symposium is built to surface.

To be held alongside the Global Digital Health Summit (GDHS) 2026, whose theme is "Implementing Artificial Intelligence - AI in Action," the question on the table is no longer whether AI belongs in healthcare. That debate is over.

The real question is sharper: what is actually working, for whom, and how do we know?

Research, clinical evidence, policy analysis, and real-world deployment data are the only honest answers to that question. Everything else is a pitch deck.

Here is an uncomfortable truth: most strong research dies of obscurity, not weak findings.

A well-designed study published in the right journal can still take years to influence a single hospital's procurement decision, if it ever does.

The format

A short abstract, title, track, year of work, target population, followed by a paper capped at 1,200 words covering:

• background and objectives
• methodology
• key findings
• real-world or policy impact

No padding allowed. If the evidence is genuinely strong, 1,200 words is enough to prove it to a Global Scientific Committee that is actually going to read it.

Selected authors do not just get a certificate. They get to present and be evaluated live on innovation, relevance, evidence strength, real-world impact, and presentation. There is also prize money:

• INR 50,000 for first place
• INR 30,000 for second place
• INR 20,000 for third place

There is also a special offer on the GDHS delegate pass.

The only question left

The next meaningful breakthrough in healthcare probably is not missing. It is misplaced, sitting in a drive, a drawer, or a half-finished slide deck, waiting for someone to ask the right question about it.
